Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using ScoutUp, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use ScoutUp. Users under 18 require parental or guardian consent. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Keep your password confidential. Do not share account access with others.
- Notify us immediately at support@scoutup.in if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You may not create multiple accounts for the same person or organisation.
4. Permitted use
ScoutUp is a sports scouting and discovery platform. You may use it to:
- Create and manage an athlete, scout, coach, or club profile.
- Discover trials, apply for opportunities, and connect with other users.
- Post updates, match highlights, and achievements.
- Message connected users and manage your inbox.
5. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information about yourself or others.
- Impersonate any person, organisation, or ScoutUp staff.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
- Post content that is defamatory, obscene, or violates any law.
- Use the platform for spam, phishing, or commercial solicitation without consent.
- Attempt to access another user's account or ScoutUp's backend systems.
- Use automated bots or scrapers to extract data from the platform.
6. Content ownership
You retain ownership of content you post (photos, videos, bios, stats). By posting, you grant ScoutUp a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote your content within the platform and for ScoutUp marketing purposes. You may delete your content at any time.
7. Trial listings and applications
Clubs and coaches posting trials are responsible for the accuracy of their listings. ScoutUp does not guarantee any trial outcome, selection, or employment. We are a platform provider, not an employer or talent agency.
8. Payments and subscriptions
Premium features may be offered on a subscription basis via Razorpay. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
9. Disclaimers
ScoutUp is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. Use the platform at your own risk.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScoutUp is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of data, loss of opportunities, or reputational harm.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account from Settings → Account. Upon termination, your licence to use the platform ends immediately.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
